I was challenged to turn a large collection of raw user data, summaries, charts, insight statements, and research findings, into a polished, executive-ready presentation and an engaging internal newsletter. I focused on the story behind the data,  what themes were emerging, what they revealed about the customer experience, and why they mattered.

This project highlights one of my core strengths as an Instructional and Graphic Designer: transforming overwhelming information into clear, meaningful, and visually compelling stories.

Communications Engagement: Performance Snapshot
Audience

Presentation: Executives, stakeholders, editorial teammates. They expected clear
messages, visual clarity, and recommendations.

Newsletter: A mix of employees including executives and senior leaders as well as data analysts and managers.

The Problem

Newsletter:
"Aleph Communications" needed a one-page internal newsletter that could transform a dense, research-heavy PowerPoint, into a clear, engaging, and visually polished communication piece for employees across all levels. The challenge required distilling complex insights into a concise narrative that would spark curiosity and encourage readers to explore the full study. Key expectations included strong information hierarchy, consistent layout, and data visualizations that enhanced the story. In short: Aleph needed a newsletter that made complex research feel inviting, digestible, and worth reading.

Executive Presentation:
Aleph needed an executive-ready slide that could transform raw performance metrics, spread across months of engagement data, into a clear, compelling snapshot for stakeholders, executives, and editorial partners. The challenge required far more than data accuracy: it demanded interpretation, storytelling, and strong visual judgment. The slide also needed to provide actionable next steps to improve engagement or guide future data gathering.

The Solution

Deep Analysis & Synthesis
I began by carefully reviewing the research multiple times, identifying patterns, key themes, and the underlying narrative hidden within the data.

Instructional Strategy & Audience Empathy
Before designing, I mapped the story from the perspective of employees, analysts, and leadership. I focused on what each group needed to quickly grasp, and how to present it in a way that felt accessible, relevant, and energizing.

Structuring the Story
I sketched layout concepts, defined visual hierarchy, and simplified complex charts into digestible data visuals. Each section was crafted to provide clear value and guide readers seamlessly through the insights.

Visual Design for Clarity & Connection
I combined clean typography, purposeful color, thoughtful spacing, and human-centered imagery to create a design system that made the information easy to understand and compelling to explore.
